Last month this lovely Memphis garden wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty.
The wedding itself took place at Dixon Gallery & Gardens with a reception at The Historic Cadre Building in Downtown Memphis. Dixon Gardens are a perfect setting for an outdoor garden party wedding. The amazing photos speak for themselves.

The reception at The Cadre featured lovely florals and table design.

We’re loving this quote on Style Me Pretty from the bride talking about Memphis and why she decided to have her wedding here:
“I was born in Memphis but did not grow up there. Every year I visited family for the holidays and developed a fondness for Memphis, this magical, charming city I could never get enough of. Living in New York City, I knew when the time came that I wanted a destination Southern wedding in Memphis, and it would need to be a weekend for my NYC friends to remember. With the help of a graphic designer friend, Etsy and a lot of family elbow grease we produced everything from an infographic about the guests, to guitar-toting tour guides on the buses to the reception, to a sentimental first dance song of my grandfather’s sung by my uncle (the bride’s uncle is Steve Selvidge, a member of The Hold Steady and her grandfather Sid Selvidge is also a well known local musician). In the end, our wedding was a balance of rustic charm and modern beauty, much like Memphis itself.”
